So what do you want to know?

My name by birth is Katherine Elizabeth, but I prefer to go by Katie-Beth, K-B, KB-Chan...a number of pet names that are more appealing and don't make me sound like a mint julep-sucking belle who says 'oh my stars!' and complains of the vapors.

I majored in English and minored in Women's and Gender Studies in college, and just recently graduated after a six year stint. Hopefully when I get out grad school, I'll be a librarian by trade to support myself while I write. I consider myself to be a wandering storyteller, I'll weave a good tale at the drop of a hat for my own amusement. I end up having very colorful dreams, often in subtitles. I have a habit of spewing random words and phrases, if I think it, in general, I say it while I'm thinking it. Maybe it's the manic depression. *shrugs* Couldn't tell ya.

I love, love, love to write and draw and sing. My favorite muses are elves, dragons, and amazing women, of which there are no shortage. I believe there is amazing power within the heart of every woman, and I wish to illustrate that in all my works. Of course, that's not to say that giving a message of strength can't be wrapped up in a comical, pretty, surreal, bubble-gum pink package. ^_^
